In order to engage the science-oriented organisations & institutions, especially grassroots voluntary developmental organizations, in nation building through the intervention of science and technology, a three-day national summit would be conducted. The program aims to deliberate on innovative ideas and technologies, methodologies and products developed by R&D institutions that are benificial for the masses. It is envisaged to promote the various flagship programs of the government to reach out to the beneficiaries through a wide network of voluntarily developmental organisations working in the social sector.
Experience sharing and showcasing various grassroots level projects and activities in socio-economic developmental sector, Interactive sessions with experts, Project heads of Government schemes in Societal Development will be some of the highlights of the program. A road map for implimenting the Vision- 2022, declared in IISF-NSOIM 2018, Lucknow of developing more than thousand Integrated, sustainable and inclusive Developmental Models across the nation shall be discussed and action plan shall be prepared in this summit.
Six zonal and other state-level capacity building pre conference workshops would be conducted to sensitise such organisations towards this objective. Potential and aspiring organisations would be selected and invited to participate in the summit (NSOIM) at IISF 2019.
