Inculcating the spirit of science and creativity in young minds are the fundamentals of the Students Science Village program of the India International Science Festival (IISF). The participants of the Student Science Village program are the students from class VIII to XI and the coordinating teachers nominated by the Hon’ble Members of the Parliament from their respective villages adopted under “Pradhan Mantri Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana”. Students Science Village 2022 is set to repeat the success of the previous years by making a greater attempt to reach out to the rural masses and propagate science to the extent of seeking scientific solutions to the diverse challenges our society is facing, specifically the rural parts of our nation, and also to inculcate scientific temperament and promote interest in science. The participating student will have the opportunity to be a part of hands-on science activities conducted by science communicators; to have interactions with the eminent scientists/educationalists/industrialist from India and abroad, to visit Mega Science & Technology Expo: - An exhibition showcasing India’s achievements in Science and Technology by various Ministries, Departments and Institutions of the Government of India; to watch Scientific Films, participate in the workshop on the scientific instrument; to visit R & D institutions at host city, opportunity for cultural interaction and exchange of knowledge.
