Young Scientist Conference

Young Scientists’ Conference (YSC) is intended for the young scientists/researchers/faculties/science innovators/professionals from national laboratories, academic institutions and from industry fraternity. Post doctoral and doctoral fellows in all areas of pure and applied sciences including highly motivated MSc and B-tech students can also take part in the event. It makes the young researchers aware of the scientific policies of India and discusses the success stories of India’s scientific progresses. This event motivates the young brains to find scientific solutions for the ongoing issues of our country such as climate change, bio-economy, ecosystem sustainability, rational use and protection of natural resources. The YSC is truly an opportunity for young researchers to showcase their scientific contributions and innovations to the fellow researchers and public. This conference aims to help young researchers cultivate their skill of public presentation and inspire many young minds to pursue research in other frontier areas of sciences such as artificial intelligence, science at nanoscale, quantum computation etc. The event is mandated to strengthen the scientific potential of young researchers by promoting their future collaborations in the interdisciplinary areas to tackle a wide range of issues at national level in science, industry and society.

Eligibility:
Young scientists, faculty members, post doctoral fellows, PhD students and bright final year MSc and B-tech students. Persons from scientific Industry can also participate. The age limit is 40 years as on January 21, 2023. 

Participation in YSC
Delegates can register online directly. They can submit abstracts during the registration. The submitted abstracts would be screened by the scientific committee and a confirmation mail along with acceptance message for the abstract will be sent to the registered e-mail id of the registrant. 

Abstract Submission: 

The interested delegates should submit their abstract online in due date. They will get an automatic response mail after submission. Please don’t treat this mail as the acceptance of the abstract. Delegates would receive an acceptance message and confirmation mail after the due date of abstract submission is over. In the confirmation mail, their mode of presentation will be mentioned properly. Abstracts are expected in the line of the themes given.  

Participation Confirmation 

Merely registration does not ensure the participation. Final CONFIRMATION mail from the organizer would assure you about your participation. However participants are required to submit their travel itinerary within 2days of the receipt of confirmation mail. Otherwise the organizer won’t be sure about their participation and can’t arrange logistics. 

Travel Support: 

There are few travel supports for PhD students, Post doctoral fellows and young faculty members who don’t have any funding opportunities, preferably participants from University. Write a mail to the following id mentioning the tile of your abstract. Please write as “TRAVEL SUPPORT FOR YSC-2023” in the subject of the e-mail. Please also upload a recommendation letter from your supervisor or head of the Institution. In case of any malpractice, action will be taken.
