Engineering Students’ Festival focuses on spreading technical knowledge and suffusing enthusiasm in the minds of the students to develop technology for the greater good of society. Bringing together the best minds from the engineering world and providing a platform of interaction, ESF21 would give the opportunity to entice every prospective engineer. Providing an avenue for showcasing innovative products, projects, ideas developed by y Students, we see the best technology being incubated here. Students would be prompted to adopt User Inspired Basic Research, a confluence of new knowledge and application.

  • Top three selected groups/teams under each theme/category will receive cash prize and certificate.
  • All participants will receive certificates.

Entries would be invited online from 2 categories of students, namely :

  1. Engineering Students Category (Students/research scholars pursuing their ITI course/Polytechnic/ B Tech /M Tech  or equivalent or higher course)
  2. Non-Engineering Students Category (Students/research scholars pursuing studies in basic sciences, agriculture, medical, Ayurveda, food technology or any non engineering course at graduate or postgraduate or higher level)

In first stage, there will be preliminary scrutiny of submissions, and upto 200 best ideas/proposals would be selected for final presentation in hybrid mode (25% physically + 75% online) during IISF-ESF at Goa. The preliminary scrutiny will be done by online Jury whereas final selection will be done at IISF-ESF at Goa, by National Jury in physical mode. Two Students from each selected (limited number) group project will be allowed to present the project at Goa (IISF Venue), subject to terms & conditions. The TA and accommodation will be arranged for these students.

For participation purposes, a working model is not mandatory. However, the Jury will decide whether physical demonstration of the model/project is necessary or not. Marks will be given according to this. If an idea/project can satisfy the pre-screening  Jury panel using simulation or poster only , it may be selected for demonstration in the final. Working models will certainly have priority for final selection.
