The National Social Organizations and Institutions Meet (NSOIM) is a crucial component of the Indian International Science Festival (IISF), serving as a platform to unite stakeholders in societal development. It facilitates presentations, interactive sessions, and demonstrations of innovative technologies that enhance citizens' quality of life and livelihoods. The event promotes exchange of ideas between scientific and social communities, with a focus on grassroots models conducive to livelihoodcentric development, social diffusion, and commercialization, originating from scientific and research institutions. Participants from science & technology based social organizations, societal research & academic institutions, and entrepreneurs engaged in societal development shall engage in discussions on scientific interventions and sustainable models for societal development. The central theme for NSOIM-2023 is 'Technological Innovations for Grassroots Development' encompassing sub-themes like Grassroots Innovations for Livelihood Generation, Addressing Emerging Societal Challenges, Water and Environment Conservation, Food and Nutrition Solutions, and Livelihood- Centric S&T Systems for Multidimensional Poverty Alleviation.
